Coverage Needs:

On Call: Required (Night call and weekend call during the assignment)
Shift Details: 5x8; 3 days in clinic, 2 days in OR
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm; surgery days may start earlier at 7/7:30am

Work Details:

Support Staff: RNs, clerical support, 2 audiologists, 2 NPs (including a seasoned NP who handles tubes, new patients, pre-op and post-op care)
Patient Load: 15-18 patients per day in clinic; 7-10 patients per day in OR
Patient Population: All ages with a current focus on pediatrics; heavy caseload
Department: Otolaryngology
EMR System: Cerner
Hospital Size: 318 beds
Special Procedures: Bread and butter ENT (ear, larynx, nasal/sinus, throat); peds procedures including ear tubes, tonsillectomies, etc.
Skills Required: Bread and butter ENT procedures

Requirements:

Board Certification: Required
State License: Not required, but must have IMLC for licensure
DEA Registration: Required
CSR Registration: Required
Certifications: BLS required
Experience: Minimum of 10+ years preferred; no new grads

Credentialing Timeframe: Standard 60-90 days, with expedited processing possible (potentially 45 days or less with clean files). 

Willing to License: Yes (IMLC)
