Locum – Physician – OB Hospitalist Rockwall, TX

Overview:
As a Locum OB Hospitalist, you will provide essential obstetric and gynecologic care, ensuring the safety and well-being of new mothers and their babies during weekend shifts. Required Skills:
- Valid medical license in Texas
- Board certification or eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Proven experience in obstetric inpatient care and management of labor and delivery
- Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to work independently and handle urgent obstetric situations efficiently
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with expedited hospital privileges
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Previous locum tenens or hospitalist experience
- Bilingual abilities, especially Spanish, are a plus
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in obstetrics
- Prior experience working as a hospitalist or in a similar inpatient OB role
Other Requirements:
- Willingness to work weekend shifts
- Possession of ACLS, NRP, and BLS certifications
- Ability to obtain hospital privileges, with expedited privileges available for providers with clean files
- Must comply with all licensing, certification, travel, and other applicable reimbursements
