Join Our Team as a Registered Nurse - Cath Lab and Make a Difference in Cardiac Care
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our prestigious Cath Lab team. What You'll Do:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care during complex cardiac and peripheral vascular procedures, including coronary interventions, TAVR, MitraClip, and neuro interventions.
- Function in multiple roles: circulating, scrubbing, and hemodynamic monitoring, with an emphasis on versatility.
- Administer vasoactive drugs, sedation, and critical patient assessments while maintaining sterile technique.
- Support advanced equipment such as Impella, IABP, laser atherectomy, and various imaging systems.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across facilities, providing care in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.
Required Skills:
- Minimum of 3 years RN experience, with at least 1.5 years in a Cath Lab setting within the last year.
- Proven ability to scrub, monitor, and circulate in complex interventional procedures.
- Strong knowledge of cardiovascular disease, hemodynamics, and critical patient assessment.
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and valid driver’s license.
- Ability to administer vasoactive medications and sedation, with excellent sterile technique.
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with Impella, Rotoblater, Pnumbra, or lithotripsy atherectomy.
- Certification in RCIS (preferred but not required).
- Proficiency with EMR systems like Meditech Expanse.
- Experience supporting neuro or structural interventions.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- At least 3 years of relevant RN experience, with significant Cath Lab experience.
Other Requirements:
- Willingness to float between facilities including Willis Knighton Pierremont, Bossier, and WKMC North.
- Flexibility to work a 4-week schedule, including rotating weekends and rotating overnight call shifts.
- Participation in orientation and precepting programs.
- Shift hours: 0700-1530, Monday through Friday, with call overnight (1500-0700) twice weekly and every third weekend.
- Start Date: February 23, 2026.
- Pay Rate: $67.00/hour.
