Description
Level II Trauma Center is seeking a BE/BC Trauma/Acute Care Surgeon.
Full-time position is 14 days per month in one or two blocks that include weekday and weekend call shifts
100% acute care/trauma practice, no elective practice
Cover trauma alerts and EGS consultations
Round on 30-bed ICU, step-down unit and medical/surgical floors
On-site clinic is covered by APP and supported by elective general surgeons
Advanced Practice Provider coverage 7 a.m.–5 p.m. weekdays and 7 a.m.–3 p.m. weekends, with on-call APP for OR assisting
Three Da Vinci Xi robots with 24/7 access for acute care surgery
More than 900 trauma and EGS cases per year
ED volume: 72,000 per year

Call response time within 30 minutes to hospital

Requirements: ATLS, ACLS, active IL license and DEA.
