Description
Children’s Hospital is seeking a full-time BC/BE Pediatric Hematologist/Oncologist to join our team.
Our division includes 5 full-time physicians and 2 nurse practitioners.
Our outpatient clinic with 6 exam rooms, 10-room infusion center, outpatient procedure facilities and 13-bed inpatient unit are all conveniently located on the 5th floor of Children’s Hospital.
Will have the opportunity to join a rapidly growing program in both Children’s Hospital and at our satellite clinic.
With around 60 newly diagnosed oncology patients a year and nearly 200 sickle cell patients, the candidate will be exposed to the full scope of both Hematology and Oncology.
We count on an extensive multidisciplinary team including APHON certified/chemotherapy certified nurses, social workers, child life specialists, pediatric psychologist, a nurse educator, and two research coordinators.
Clinic has a cutting edge 270-degree immersion room that provides entertainment to our patients during prolonged infusions.
Work Monday - Friday in the clinic with no planned call responsibilities (no holidays or weekends). Call will only be for emergencies.
