Central Pennsylvania facility
seeking a Locum Emergency Medicine Physician to join Float Pool
Contract length: 13 weeks
• Float pool consists of 7 locations
• MUST be willing to cover most locations and shift types
• Minimum of 8-10 shifts per month; must be blocked days for travelers.
• Patient population: All Ages
• EMR: Cerner
• Required: BC Emergency Medicine, PA license or IMLC, DEA, BLS, 1 year minimum experience

Facility Details:
ED 1: New state-of-the-art ED that opened mid-April 2023
• 44 rooms with 4 trauma bays
• Level II Trauma Center
• 360 bed hospital
• 8 hour shifts
• Multiple physicians and APPs on shift
• New state-of-the-art neuro trauma ICU
• Must be ABEM certified
• SHIFT DETAILS: 6a-2p, 11a-9p, 2p-11p 9p-6a
ED 2: 20 rooms with 2 trauma bays
• 200 bed hospital
• 8-12 hour shifts
• Multiple physicians and APPs on shift
• Back up med surg and ICU on night shifts with intubations, central lines and chest tubes
• Must be ABEM certified
• SHIFT TIMES: Monday-Friday 7a-3p, 3p-11p, 11p-7a, 10a-8p
Sat/Sunday 7a-7p, 7p-7a, 11a-9p
ED 3: Critical access hospital
• 25 bed hospital
• Single physician on shift
• 12 or 24 hour shifts
• Run codes, stroke alerts and rapid response for med surg - Average census 10-15 patients – low acuity
• Approximately 10,000 annual visits
