Description
A well-established cancer program in the Pacific Northwest is seeking a Board Certified Radiation Oncologist for ongoing locum tenens coverage. This is a high-quality practice environment with strong clinical support and predictable scheduling.
Assignment Details
Duration: Ongoing
Schedule: 3–4 weeks per month required
Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm
Clinic Structure:
Tuesdays dedicated to on-treatment visits only (no new consults or follow-ups)
Call: None
Clinical Volume
New consults: 2–3 per day
Follow-ups: ~4 per day On-treatment patient load by machine:
Radixact: ~24–25 patients
TrueBeam: ~22 patients
Elekta: ~25 patients Practice Environment
Scope: General Radiation Oncology
EMR: Epic & Mosaic
Multisite cancer center model
Strong support team including experienced RNs and staff Requirements:
BC in Radiation Oncology
Clean malpractice history required
Open to physicians needing licensure assistance
