We are seeking a certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist specializing in Anesthesiology for a 132-day locum tenens assignment in Maryland. This opportunity begins on Apr 1, 2026, and offers flexible weekly FTE coverage with day shifts and various scheduling options. The position involves a standard caseload typical of a smaller community hospital, with coverage needed through Sep 30, 2026.


Job Details

  • Provider Type Needed: Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist
  • Schedule: Weekly FTE coverage; options include 5 eight-hour shifts, 4 ten-hour shifts, or 3 twelve-hour shifts; call (beeper/back-up) required 1 time per week and 2 weekend shifts per month


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide anesthesia care for general surgery, urology, orthopedics, obstetrics, and select electrophysiology cases
  • Manage anesthesia for a bread-and-butter caseload in a community hospital setting
  • Exclude cardiac surgery and interventional neurology cases from practice scope
  • Participate in call rotation as assigned
  • Deliver safe, effective anesthesia in collaboration with the surgical team
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility policies


Additional Information

  • Maryland license required
  • Board certification in Anesthesiology required
  • Assignment does not include cardiac surgery or interventional neurology cases
