Cardiothoracic Surgery Locums Job in Virginia | Seeking 24-Hour Call Coverage | Starting Early March 2026 & Ongoing

Jackson and Coker is partnered with a client in the Norfolk-Virginia Beach area that needs Cardiothoracic Surgery locum tenens assistance. Look forward to ongoing coverage being needed that you will have the opportunity to consider before other non-credentialed options in the future.

Seeking 24-hour call coverage, 7A - 7A, on the following shifts: 
-- 7AM 3/2 through 7AM 3/23 
-- 7AM 5/1 through 7AM 5/6
+ ongoing coverage of 7-10 days/month in June & onward

Details for Assignment #113436:
-- Active + unrestricted Virginia license required
-- Board Certification required
-- Seeking CT Surgery 24-hour ED call coverage (will be required to round, do any emergent procedures, etc.) 
-- CT APP Support available for first assist & inpatient support
-- Minimally Invasive Thoracic Surgery (VATS) experience/skill is preferred; Robotics are available while on assignment but not required
-- Seeing mid-low volumes currently and anticipate 3-5 cases per week, 1-2 per weekend
-- Epic EMR inpatient, Cerner outpatient, located in southeast Virginia, 295+ bed facility, not a designated trauma facility
