Emergency Medicine (Nocturnist) - Southeastern Alabama

• Hospital employed practice seeks a BC/BE Emergency Medicine physician to join their team


• Salary: $210/hour with a guaranteed base salary of $350,000 plus mid and night shift differentials


• The area's only Level II Trauma Center - high acuity with over 60,000 annual visits (150-200/day)


• Equitable schedule with 7 day block off monthly. Average of 14 shifts per month (9 and 10-hour shifts)


• Comprehensive Stroke Center


• Dedicated Nocturnist position - 5 pm to 3 am


• Clinical Decision Unit, managed by Hospitalists, holds ED patients up to 24 hours for observation before admitting or discharging


• All physicians in the group are Emergency Medicine trained and are supported by Mid-level providers. ED operates in a zone model with Physician, APP, and RN practicing together in each zone


• Internal Medicine residency program in-house. Opportunity to teach residents and medical students, if desired
