Neuro-Ophthalmology - Illinois

• Candidates must be BE/BC in Neurology or Ophthalmology and have additional fellowship training in Neuro-Ophthalmology

• Single hospital with strong hospitalist, neurohospitalist, neuro-intensive care, neuroradiology, advanced neuroimaging, emergency medicine, cardiology, and cardiothoracic support


• The Neuroscience Institute provides comprehensive medical and surgical services for our patients with brain and spine disorders and participates in several clinical trials for patients who come from all over the Central Illinois region


• The Eye Department consists of 5 Ophthalmologists, 5 Optometrists, 1 Low Vision specialist, 5 ABOC Opticians and a dedicated Eye EMR support team. In addition to Neuro-Ophthalmology, our specialists include Vitreoretinal Surgery, Medical Retina, Cornea, and Pediatric Ophthalmology


• 350-360k annual salary offered in addition to sign on bonus and excellent benefits including health/dental/life/LTD insurance, paid malpractice insurance with full tail coverage, relocation assistance, and vacation meeting time


• Practice will be at a newly built clinic facility, surgeries are performed at a new, 23,000 square-foot ASC facility nearby


• State-of-the-art equipment including; 2 Zeiss IOLmaster 700, 2 Humphrey Visual Fields, 4 Heidelberg OCTs including FA, ICG & OCT-A, Cirrus OCT, Accutome UBM, A-scan & B-scan, Intraoperative OCT, Zeiss Lumera 700 microscopes, Alcon Centurion, Callisto Eye System, Lumenis Selecta II SLT laser, Zeiss Yag Visulas III laser, Lumenis Vision One laser, and Iridex Micropulse Laser
