Location: Washington (please inquire for specific location) Duration: April 13th – Ongoing Schedule: 3 days per week. (Wednesday-Friday, each week) Shift: 8a-5p, lunch from 12-1 Call: N/A Patient volume: 12-16 patients per day (30 minutes per patient visit for established patients) Scope: Outpatient hematology/oncologyClinical Care: Collaborate with oncologists to provide comprehensive, specialized care to cancer patients, ranging from diagnosis through treatment and survivorship in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Perform physical exams, order/interpret diagnostic tests (labs, imaging), and manage acute or chronic symptoms related to cancer and treatments (e.g., pain, nausea). Treatment Management: Manage treatment plans, prescribe medications, and order to administer chemotherapy or radiation at Cancer Care Center, often managing infusion center care and manage side effects. Patient Education & Support: Provide education to patients and families regarding disease, treatment, and self-care. EMR: Cerner, CommunityWorks (Will provide orientation to the platform via Zoom prior to reporting onsite) Hospital: Cancer Center Group/support: On site clinic manager, 2 Office assistants, 1, CMA, 1 RN. The Cancer Center has 7 infusions chairs, and we mix our own chemo onsite. Infusions are available 5 days per week. Full lab at the hospital for all laboratory needs. Requirements (boards, license): Active WA license and DEA.
