Facility in West MA seeking EM locums coverageRates: $325/hr Opportunity Highlights Schedule Flexibility: 8, 11, and 12-hour shifts are available. High Priority: Morning and night shifts. Supportive Environment: Admissions are managed by an on-staff Hospitalist service. Collaborative Team: Robust APP coverage is available on-site. Credentialing: Temporary privileges are available for candidates with clean backgrounds to ensure a quick start. EMR: Meditech. Clinical Setting & Scope Trauma Level: Level III Trauma Center. Volume: Annual ER volume of approximately 55,000 visits. Admission Rate: Approximately 30% of ED patients are admitted daily. Responsibilities: * Standard Emergency Medicine services. Monitoring/supervising Paramedics and Ambulance crews via radio. Note: Emergency Physicians are not responsible for codes; deliveries are sent directly to Labor & Delivery. Provider Requirements Board Status: ABEM Board Certified or Board Eligible (within 5 years of residency) is Required. Licensure: Active Massachusetts (MA) license is Highly Preferred. Certifications: Active BLS, ACLS, and ATLS are Required. Logistics: Candidates must be local (no flights will be reimbursed). Background: A clean background is required for expedited credentialing. Documentation: A Self-Query NPDB report (dated within the month) is required at the time of presentation.
