Facility in Richmond, VA seeking ObGyn locums coverageOpportunity Highlights Duration: May 1, 2026 – August 31, 2026. Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (Office) plus shared call. Call Requirements: 24-hour shifts (weekday and weekend) with a 1:4 rotation. Support: 1-on-1 clinical support (CMA, LPN, or RN); onsite Lab and Ultrasound with seasoned technicians. Team: 4 Physicians (including locum), 5 Midwives, and 5 APPs. EMR: Epic. Clinical Scope & Volume Office Volume: 25–30 scheduled patients per day. Practice Mix: 90% Low Risk / 10% High Risk Pregnancy; 20% GYN. Surgery: 1–4 GYN surgeries per day (provider preference). Facility Features: NICU Level III on-site and Level II Trauma Center designation. Required Procedures Obstetrics & Labor/Delivery: FHR interpretation (NST/CST/FSE) and OB Ultrasound interpretation. Routine vaginal deliveries, low forceps, and C-sections. Complicated deliveries (Breech, multiple births, abruptions). VBACs and repair of 3rd & 4th-degree lacerations. Gynecology: Office/Minor: IUD insertion, Colposcopy, Cystoscopy, Cryosurgery, and LEEP. Surgical: Open and Laparoscopic (Tubal ligation, LOAs, Chromal tubation, Ectopic pregnancy, Cystectomy). Provider Requirements Board Status: Board Certified or Board Eligible in OB/GYN. Licensure: Active Virginia (VA) license (or willing to obtain). Certifications: Active BLS and ACLS. Logistics: Provider must be LOCAL. Only mileage is reimbursed; no flights or lodging provided. Background: Clean background for expedited credentialing (approx. 120-day timeframe).
