A hospital in Coos Bay, Oregon is seeking a Locum Cardiology Nurse Practitioner for a 3-month assignment with the possibility of extension. This is a full-time opportunity working a balanced mix of inpatient and clinic responsibilities within a well-supported cardiology team.

Schedule
4 x 10-hour shifts
7:30 AM – 4:30 PM
Weekly rotation model:
1 week inpatient
1 week clinic
50% inpatient / 50% outpatient

Clinical Responsibilities
Clinic
15–18 patients per day
Dedicated MA support
Triage RN team
Device clinic with dedicated device staff
Hospital
8–15 patients per day
General cardiology support
Invasive cardiology support
Electrophysiology support

Team & Support
4 physicians on staff
Assigned Medical Assistant
Triage RN team
Device clinic support staff
EPIC EMR

Required Qualifications
Board Certified Nurse Practitioner – REQUIRED
Oregon license (or willing to obtain) – REQUIRED
Minimum 1+ year experience as a Cardiology NP – REQUIRED
Self-Query NPDB (within 30 days of presentation) – REQUIRED
CAQH login and password – REQUIRED at time of offer
Meets criteria for Medical Staff or Allied Health Professional privileges
