About the Position Medix is seeking a skilled and motivated Physical Therapist for a long-term travel assignment at a premier orthopedic specialty clinic in Colorado. We are looking for a clinician who thrives in a specialized environment and is passionate about improving patient quality of life through manual therapy and evidence-based exercise.This position offers a unique clinical experience with 85% of cases coming from internal physician referrals. With 40-minute blocks for both evaluations and treatments, you will have the time necessary to provide high-quality, hands-on care. Location: Colorado Facility Type: Orthopedic Specialty Clinic Start Date: 4/6/2026 Length of Assignment: 26 Weeks (1040 Hours) Schedule: Monday – Friday, 4x10s (7:00 AM – 6:00 PM with a set day off) State License Needed: Colorado PT License or Compact License Pay: Highly competitive pay packages including tax-free stipends and hourly rates are available; your recruiter will provide a detailed breakdown based on your specific needs. Responsibilities: --> Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans to improve mobility, manage pain, and restore function. --> Conduct 40-minute patient visits for both evaluations and treatments, ensuring personalized care. --> Maintain a productivity standard of approximately 60 slots per week (averaging 12 patients per day). --> Manage a heavy orthopedic caseload with a strong focus on internal physician referrals. --> Utilize prescribed exercise, hands-on care, and patient education to prevent long-term disability.
Skills
--> Education: Graduate of a physical therapy curriculum approved by the APTA. --> Experience: 1+ years of professional experience required (3+ years preferred). --> License: Active Colorado PT license or Compact License. --> Certifications: BLS (AHA or American Red Cross) and Dry Needling Certification/Education are required. --> Preferred Skills: Experience with Blood Flow Restriction Therapy (BFRT) is a plus.
