Required Skills:
- Minimum of 2 years of OR nursing experience
- Current New York State (NYS) nursing license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- NIHSS certification at the time of submission
- Must have at least 6 CEUs on Stroke-related topics prior to start
- Proven experience with orthopedic procedures
- Travel experience preferred
- Ability to work on call as required
Nice to Have Skills:
- Prior experience in a travel nursing role
- Additional certifications related to perioperative or orthopedic care
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Registered Nurse with an active NYS license
- At least 2 years of operating room experience, with a focus on orthopedic surgeries
- Experience working in fast-paced, high-pressure environments
Other Requirements:
- On-call availability required
- Ability to work either 3x12-hour shifts or 4x10-hour shifts, with guaranteed hours
- Willingness to work in Auburn, NY, with local rates available for those within 60 miles
Compensation & Benefits:
- Hourly pay rate of $35, plus a weekly per diem of $1246
