Location: Near Albany, NY
Duration: March – ongoing (6+ months)
Schedule: 2-4 wks/month
Clinic Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Call Schedule: 1:5 rotating call; Weeknight call: 4:30 PM – 8:30 AM; Weekend call: 24-hour (8:30 AM – 8:30 AM); Primarily telephone-only and rare urgent consults requiring in-person evaluation
Patient Volume: 15–20 patients per day in clinic with approximately 6 new patients per week
Scope of Practice: 40% Hematology / 60% Oncology for Outpatient clinic and inpatient call coverage
Duties Include: New patient consults and follow-ups, Treatment planning and chemotherapy management and Inpatient rounding during call coverage
Staffing Mix: 3 Hem/Onc Physicians, 3 APPs, Dedicated PA support for inpatient service (Monday–Friday), Onsite Radiation Oncology support, Highly collaborative team environment
EMR: Epic
Requirements: Board Certified in Hematology and Oncology, Active New York State medical license
