Medix is partnering with a forward-thinking clinical team in Texas to find a dedicated Family Practice Physician Assistant who is passionate about root-cause medicine. In this role, you will work closely alongside a physician to provide comprehensive care to patients using a natural and integrative approach. This is an ideal position for a clinician who wants to move beyond symptom management and focus on the underlying drivers of illness and disease.The clinic offers a highly desirable schedule, providing a full-time clinical load while ending your work week at noon every Friday. You will be responsible for patient assessments, identifying health goals, and implementing treatment plans that blend traditional primary care with holistic wellness strategies. Skills
To ensure high-quality patient outcomes in this integrative setting, candidates should possess:
» A minimum of one year of clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
» A strong clinical background in Internal Medicine or Family Practice.
» Active licensure as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner in the state of Texas.
» Current prescriptive authority and valid controlled substance registration (DPS and DEA) in Texas.
» A genuine interest or experience in integrative/functional medicine models.
» Excellent communication skills to effectively educate patients on lifestyle and natural interventions.
