Our client in PA is actively seeking a skilled Pediatric Radiologist for an engaging 120-day assignment, set to begin on May 1, 2026. This crucial role involves working 10-12 hour shifts, where you will diagnose, interpret complex imaging studies, and meticulously coordinate patient care. The position is primarily within an outpatient setting, with an anticipated daily volume of 40-60 studies, offering a dynamic environment for an experienced professional accustomed to academic medical settings.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Diagnose, order, and interpret a wide range of imaging studies.
  • Coordinate patient care effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Primarily work in an outpatient setting, with the potential for inpatient cases.
  • Manage an estimated volume of 40-60 studies per day.
  • Evaluate and diagnose developmental/congenital disorders, including dysplasia, limb abnormalities, and spina bifida.
  • Assess and manage trauma/sport injuries such as fractures, dislocations, and soft tissue injuries.
  • Diagnose and treat infectious/inflammatoy conditions, including osteomyelitis, septic arthritis, and pyomyositis.
  • Identify and characterize oncology/tumors, encompassing lesions and soft tissue masses.
  • Address and manage various bone abnormalities, including rickets and scurvy.


Additional Information

  • Required Board Certification: General Radiology
  • EMR System: Epic
  • Experience within an academic setting is essential for this role.
