25 inpatient beds;

12 ER beds

Current shift times are 12-hour shifts

Intensivists: No

Sub Specialty Support: Cardiology on weekdays, ED has Respiratory, Radiology and lab 24/7

Census: 23

# of patients per MD per day: Day shift sees 12-25, night shift sees 6-10

Rapid Response Requirement: ED providers required to respond

Code Response Requirement: ED providers required to respond

Acuity Level/Trauma/Transfers: Trauma: ED physician runs trauma code. Most trauma is transferred from ED to trauma center. Trauma Level IV facility.

Transfer: Transfer to higher level facility as needed via Ems or Heli. Helipad on site.

Transfer to higher level facilities as able. In event of MCI, ED director/administration would mobilize additional providers from APP as able.

Credentialing
60-90 days

Temp privilege's: Yes, complete file approved at CC meeting

Certifications Required: ACLS, ATLS and PALS required if not EM boarded.
