Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) – Full-Time Position in Novi, MI
Henry Ford Providence Novi is actively recruiting a qualified and experienced Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our dedicated inpatient anesthesia care team. Position Overview:
As a CRNA at Henry Ford Providence Novi, you will administer anesthesia and monitor patients throughout the perioperative process, providing safe, effective anesthetic care to a diverse patient population—including pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics. This role requires a high level of clinical expertise, teamwork, and commitment to patient safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer intravenous, inhalation, and regional anesthetics during surgical, obstetrical, medical, and dental procedures.
- Conduct thorough pre-anesthetic assessments to evaluate patient health status and develop individualized anesthesia care plans.
- Monitor patients intraoperatively, adjusting anesthetic levels as needed to ensure safety and comfort.
- Provide postoperative monitoring to assess patient recovery from anesthesia.
- Perform airway management, including intubation and ventilation support, as required.
- Respond promptly to anesthesia-related emergencies and participate in on-call coverage.
- Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, nursing staff, and multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
- Document all patient care activities accurately within the EPIC electronic medical record system.
Qualifications:
- Certification as a Registered Nurse Anesthetist with current NBCRNA certification.
- ACLS and BLS certification are mandatory.
- Minimum of one year of anesthesia experience; prior experience in a hospital setting preferred.
- Candidates must possess active board certification; those with lapsed certifications are not eligible.
- Not accepting new graduates or candidates seeking locum or locum-to-perm placements.
- Ability to work self-scheduled shifts ranging from 8 to 24 hours.
- H1B and J1 visa candidates are welcome to apply.
Work Schedule & Compensation:
- Hourly pay rate of $12.06.
- Self-scheduling shifts available in 8-, 10-, 12-, 16-, or 24-hour blocks to promote work-life balance.
- Competitive salary range and sign-on bonus, commensurate with experience.
