Whether you are an experienced traveler or a new graduate looking to kickstart your career, this position offers the chance to work in a dynamic environment that blends both inpatient and outpatient care. You will be responsible for managing a manageable caseload of approximately 10–12 patients per day, focusing on post-operative surgical recovery, orthopedic care, and general pain management for primarily adult patients with occasional pediatric cases.

Responsibilities
--> Treatment Planning: Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on specific patient needs, utilizing therapeutic exercises and modalities to achieve functional goals.
--> Patient Evaluation: Review available patient history, evaluate assessment impacts, and maintain clear communication regarding the treatment process.
--> Plan Adaptation: Continuously monitor patient progress and revise treatment plans as necessary for those suffering from injuries or muscle, nerve, joint, and bone diseases.
--> Education: Establish and instruct patients, families, and caregivers on therapeutic procedures and exercises to be continued post-discharge.
--> Supervision: Effectively delegate tasks and provide clinical supervision to Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs) and rehabilitation technicians.
--> Compliance: Complete all clinical documentation accurately and timely in accordance with facility policies, Clinicient/Epic requirements, and federal/state regulations.

Skills

Requirements:
--> Licensure: Valid State of Illinois Physical Therapist License.
--> Education: Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program.
--> Technical Skills: Familiarity with Epic or Clinicient EMR software is a plus.
--> Experience: Open to New Graduates; prior experience in inpatient or outpatient settings is preferred.
