Rates: $550/hr

Opportunity Highlights
Coverage Window: April 20 – August 14, 2026.
Schedule: Monday – Friday (Weekly).
Setting: Primarily Inpatient, with occasional outpatient coverage for physician vacations.
Research Integration: Locum must be willing and interested in enrolling patients in active research studies.
Team Dynamics: Collaborative environment with 2 physicians and oversight of 1 Nurse Practitioner.
Call Requirements: Participation in the call rotation is required.
EMR: Epic.

Clinical Scope & Volume
The locum provider will manage a comprehensive adult patient population across hematology and oncology service lines.
Hospital Census: Average of 12–15 patients per day.
Practice Type: Hospital-based rounding with outpatient clinic support.
Support: Dedicated oncology nursing and NP staff for inpatient management.

Provider Requirements
Board Status: Board Certified in Hematology and Oncology (Required).
Licensure: Active Virginia (VA) Medical License (Required).
Certifications: Active BLS (Required).
Background: Clean background history.
Documentation: A Self-Query NPDB report dated within 30 days of presentation is mandatory (Required).
