SUMO Medical Staffing is recruiting experienced Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants for an APP Hospitalist locum tenens opportunity in Shawnee, Kansas. This role supports a large inpatient service with strong specialty coverage and a structured 7?on/7?off schedule.

Position Details:
Start: Estimated May 1, 2026
Schedule: 7?on/7?off | Day and Night shifts available
Facility: 359?bed hospital | Open ICU
Scope: Hospitalist and short?term care; no required procedures
Census: Average 178 (surges to 185–210)
Day: Hospitalists attend; ED leads
Night: Hospitalists lead all codes
Support: Assigned specialty support and rounding
EMR: EPIC

Requirements:
Active, unrestricted Kansas license
Board Certified NP or PA
DEA in hand
BLS and ACLS (ACLS required for night APPs)
CV in MM/YYYY format with all 30+ day gaps explained
