Internal Medicine Physician – Permly Positioned in Pueblo, Colorado

UCHealth Medical Group is seeking a qualified, full-time Internal Medicine physician to become a vital part of our Primary Care team in Pueblo, Colorado. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive primary care to an established panel of adult patients in a well-supported setting.
- Expect approximately 36 patient-facing hours per week, with flexible scheduling to promote work-life balance.
- Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary care team, including clinical Medical Assistants (MAs), to deliver coordinated, patient-centered care.
- Employ a care-team model to optimize patient management and efficiency.
- Assist in rapid patient empanelment, supported by clinical MAs managing in-basket tasks.
- Deliver evidence-based, compassionate care in a community known for its family-oriented environment.
- Maintain regional phone-only call responsibilities with minimal weekend coverage, reducing on-call burdens.
- Access specialist consultations and resources across the UCHealth network to support clinical decision-making.
- Work alongside a diverse team of nearly 1,900 physicians dedicated to excellence in healthcare delivery.
Qualifications:
- Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine (clinical residency must be completed for eligibility).
- Candidates completing residency are welcome to apply, provided they are truly Board Eligible.
- Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
- No locum or locum-to-perm candidates are considered.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Salary: Competitive annual salary ranging from $287,000 to $319,000.
- Bonuses: Potential for quality and/or productivity-based bonuses.
- Relocation: Relocation assistance may be provided to eligible candidates.
