### About the Opportunity\nMedix is partnering with a medical center in NYC to find an Internist or Family Practitioner. This role involves managing the full spectrum of general internal medicine, including outpatient HIV management.\n\nLocation: New York\nFacility Type: Medical Center / Outpatient\nStart Date: January 12, 2026\nLength of Assignment: Direct Hire\nSchedule: Day Shift\nState License Needed: New York\nPay: Rate ranges (including $10k sign-on bonus) and possible stipends to be discussed with recruiter.\n\n### Responsibilities\n--> Examine, diagnose, and treat medical illnesses in an office practice.\n--> Manage out-patient HIV disease and evaluate health status.\n--> Supervise patient care activities of paramedical personnel.\n--> Attend medical staff meetings and conferences.\n\n### Required Skills & Qualifications\n--> Graduation from an accredited Medical School.\n--> Residency completion in IM, FM, or Osteopathic Medicine.\n--> Board Certification/Eligibility in IM or FM.\n--> Licensure to practice medicine in New York State.
