### About the Opportunity\nMedix is looking for a Nurse Practitioner with a strong background in wound care to support long-term care residents. This role focuses on diagnosing and treating complex wounds within skilled nursing facilities.\n\nLocation: Kentucky\nFacility Type: Skilled Nursing Facility\nStart Date: March 9, 2026\nLength of Assignment: Direct Hire\nSchedule: Monday - Friday 8a - 5p EST\nState License Needed: Kentucky\nPay: Personalized compensation packages, including competitive rates and applicable stipends, will be discussed in detail with your recruiter.\n\n### Responsibilities\n--> Provide wound care services for long-term care patients.\n--> Prescribe appropriate medications in accordance with KY Law.\n--> Communicate with nursing home staff regarding changes in condition.\n--> Collaborate with primary care physicians.\n\n### Required Skills & Qualifications\n--> Current unrestricted NP license in Kentucky.\n--> Clinical background in wound care (chronic, stalled, or infected wounds).\n--> Experience with wound vacs and other DME.\n--> Board Certification required.
