### About the Opportunity\nMedix is seeking an experienced Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner for a busy outpatient setting. This role is perfect for a clinician who thrives in a high-volume environment and enjoys a wide variety of acute cases.\n\nLocation: Virginia\nFacility Type: Urgent Care Clinic\nStart Date: March 16, 2026\nLength of Assignment: Direct Hire\nSchedule: Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM\nState License Needed: Virginia\nPay: Personalized compensation packages, including competitive rates and applicable stipends, will be discussed in detail with your recruiter.\n\n### Responsibilities\n--> Evaluate and treat patients with acute, non-life-threatening conditions (infections, minor fractures, lacerations).\n--> Perform comprehensive history and physical examinations.\n--> Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records (EMR).\n--> Prescribe medications and provide patient education.\n\n### Required Skills & Qualifications\n--> At least 2 years of experience in an ambulatory/outpatient setting as an NP.\n--> Active NP state license for Virginia.\n--> Active DEA license.\n--> Proficiency with EMR systems.
