General Dentist Location: Northern Wisconsin Practice Setting: Tribal Health & Wellness Center Employment Type: Full-Time
A comprehensive tribal health and wellness center serving the Ashland, Wisconsin region is seeking a General Dentist to join a collaborative outpatient medical team. The facility recently expanded services and added new operatories to support increased patient demand. The practice emphasizes quality patient care, strong collaboration, and community-focused healthcare delivery.
Practice Environment - Outpatient tribal health and wellness center with multidisciplinary services including primary care, behavioral health, pharmacy, laboratory, radiology, ultrasound, physical therapy, and psychiatry
- Modern dental department with 12 exam rooms and 6 newly added operatories
- Updated equipment including panoramic and digital X-ray systems
- EMR: Dentrix
- Team currently includes a Dental Director and dental support staff, with expansion underway
Schedule - Monday–Friday
- 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- No nights, weekends, or call
Patient Care Model - Average 8–12 patients per day with focus on quality care
- Patient mix: approximately 90% adult / 10% pediatric
Scope of Practice - Exams and preventive care
- Fillings and restorations
- Simple extractions
- Crowns
- Minor endodontic procedures including 1st and 2nd molar root canals
- Cosmetic dentistry options including Invisalign
- Complex procedures currently referred out with future plans for expanded services
Compensation and Benefits - Competitive guaranteed base salary based on internal equity and experience

Qualifications - DDS or DMD from an accredited institution
- Eligible for Wisconsin dental licensure
