About the Opportunity Medix is partnering with one of the largest interventional pain management physician groups in the U.S. to find a dedicated Physician to join their clinical team in Georgia. Location: Georgia Facility Type: Interventional Pain Management Clinic Start Date: May 11, 2026 Length of Assignment: Direct Hire Schedule: Monday–Friday (Flexible start times between 7:30 AM – 9:00 AM); 40 Hours Per Week State License Needed: Georgia Responsibilities --> Provide outpatient care, including new consultations, follow-up visits, and the performance of specialized procedures/injections. --> See an average patient volume of at least 24 patients per day. --> Interpret and explain complex imaging (X-rays, CT scans, MRI scans) and test results to identify conditions and recommend treatment plans. --> Perform a wide range of interventional procedures, including Medial branch blocks, Facet/Sacroiliac joint injections, Epidural steroid injections, and Nerve blocks. --> Utilize advanced therapies such as Spinal Cord Stimulation, Discography, Peripheral Nerve Stimulation, and Vertebroplasty/Kyphoplasty. --> Market and grow the practice while advancing the local reputation of the pain management specialty. --> Maintain all legal and professional requirements, ensuring compliance with healthcare fraud, waste, and abuse laws.
Skills
Required Skills & Qualifications --> Education: Doctorate in Medicine (M.D. or D.O.) from an accredited institution. --> Training: ACGME accreditation and completion of a fellowship in Pain Management. --> Board Certification: Board certified in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation or Anesthesiology preferred; Neurology considered with significant pain management experience. --> Licensure: Current, full, and unrestricted license to practice medicine in the state of Georgia. --> Technical Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office and experience with EMR systems (Centricity and Modernizing Medicine preferred). --> Aptitude: Exceptional patient care skills and the ability to thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced clinical environment.
