In this role, you will practice under the California Board of Registered Nursing regulations, utilizing standardized procedures developed through interdisciplinary collaboration. You will be responsible for providing individualized care that upholds the highest standards of nursing practice and patient safety.

Schedule: Combination of 8-hour day shifts and 16-hour night shifts (40 hours per week)

--> Provide comprehensive, individualized care consistent with Nursing Standards of Care and the Hospital’s Provision of Patient Care plan.
--> Function as an integral part of the medical team, collaborating with physicians and nursing leadership.
--> Perform clinical duties with acute sensitivity to the developmental milestones of the neonatal and infant populations.
--> Identify safety concerns and implement immediate measures to provide a secure environment.
--> Conduct appropriate assessments, interventions, and evaluations of patients based on clinical standards and departmental policies.

Required Skills & Qualifications
--> Experience: Minimum of one (1) year of experience as a Neonatology Nurse Practitioner (NNP), preferably within a NICU setting.
--> Nursing Background: Minimum of three (3) years of general nursing experience.
--> Education: Master of Nursing Degree and graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program approved by the California Board.
--> Licensure: Current State of California Registered Nurse (RN) license and Neonatology Nurse Practitioner (NNP) license (or eligibility to obtain).
--> Certifications: National Certification as a Nurse Practitioner; current DEA license and Furnishing Number; current BLS and PALS certifications.
