MICU Registered Nurse

This role provides an exciting opportunity to work in a high-acuity environment, delivering specialized care for patients with complex medical conditions, including respiratory distress, oncologic emergencies, sepsis, and more. Required Skills:
- Proven experience with ventilators and IV starts
- Proficiency in computerized charting systems, specifically EPIC
- Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, and NIH Stroke Scale
- Ability to manage complex medication regimens and critical procedures
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with pulmonary artery catheter placement, CRRT, plasmapheresis, or clinical trials
- Skills in bronchoscopy or endoscopy procedures
- Knowledge of advanced hemodynamic monitoring
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (ADN or BSN)
- Minimum of 2 years of ICU or MICU experience in a fast-paced medical environment
Other Requirements:
- Valid nursing license in the state of practice
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts from 19:00 to 07:30, including potential rotation based on staffing needs
- Willingness to adhere to shift review schedules and flexible scheduling based on departmental priorities
