Schedule:Intensivist coverage in cardiac ICU. Anesthesia, Pulmonary and other fellowship-trained Intensivists welcome. Familiarity with ECMO, VADs, and other MCS required. 2-3 APPs in house during day. 1 APP in house at night. APPs do all notes, orders, and billing except ECMO management notes. APPs credentialed for all lines including PA catheters. Physician only needed at night for bronchoscopy, chest tubes, or ECMO cannulations. Anesthesia or APP intubates at night. Average census 12-16 patients. Post-op cardiac and vascular, advanced heart failure, MCS and ECMO. 70-90 ECMO/yr. 24hr surgeon coverage for ECMO cannulations. No COVID unless on ECMO. targeted opening for CompHealth Dr. Z
