SUMO Medical Staffing is recruiting an experienced Psychiatrist (MD/DO) for a corrections locum tenens opportunity in Auburn, New York. This role focuses on forensic outpatient psychiatry within a structured correctional mental health program.Position Details-
Start: Estimated April 20, 2026
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00a–4:00p (40 hours/week)
Call: None
Practice Setting: Forensic outpatient psychiatry
Clinical Focus:
ICP/day?treatment style programming
Serious Mental Illness (SMI) population
Court?related evaluations (2PC, competency, etc.)
Environment: Variety of correctional mental health settings Requirements -
Active, unrestricted New York medical license
Board Certified in Psychiatry
DEA in hand
Minimum 1-year forensic psychiatry experience
