Emergency Department PhysicianLocation: Cherokee Nation Hastings Hospital, Oklahoma Rate: $300/hour Assignment Dates Start Date: May 4, 2026 End Date: August 1, 2026 Position Overview Cherokee Nation Hastings Hospital is seeking a qualified Emergency Department (ED) Physician to provide high-quality emergency care in a busy, well-supported emergency department. The ideal candidate will be board-certified or board-eligible in Emergency Medicine, with flexibility in scheduling and comfort managing patients of all ages and acuity levels. Requirements MD or DO Active Oklahoma medical license Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine Family Medicine board-certified physicians considered with significant ED experience Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department or Urgent Care experience Current ACLS, PALS, and BLS certifications Comfortable treating all ages and managing both acute and chronic conditions Willingness to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays Clinical Setting & Volume Combined ED and Urgent Care volume: 200–230+ patients per 24 hours Expected patient load: 2.5–3 patients per hour 16–22 patients per physician, depending on acuity Double physician coverage 33 total beds 13 ED beds 20 ER overflow beds Shift Details 12-hour shifts Mix of day and night shifts Day shifts: 7am–7pm, 8am–8pm, 10am–10pm, 11am–11pm, 12pm–12am Night shifts: 7pm–7am (Main ER) Support & Resources 24/7 in-house Pediatrics and Hospitalist coverage Specialty backup: Orthopedics, STEMI call, ENT, Podiatry, Nephrology (no inpatient dialysis), OB, Behavioral Health Technology Cerner Electronic Health Record (EHR) Rates:
