Position: Pediatrician – Primary Care
VieMed Healthcare Staffing, a leading Joint Commission Certified agency, is seeking a qualified Pediatrician for a permanent primary care position within a community clinic setting. We are committed to connecting skilled medical professionals with reputable healthcare facilities to ensure the delivery of exceptional patient care.
Location: Hawthorne, California
Start Date: ASAP
Employment Type: Permanent
Work Schedule: Full-time, 8-hour daytime shifts, 5 days per week
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive pediatric care for a diverse patient population in a busy outpatient clinic.
- Conduct thorough examinations, diagnose, and manage common and complex pediatric health conditions.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Educate patients and families on health maintenance, disease prevention, and treatment options.
- Collaborate with nursing and support staff to ensure seamless patient care.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient encounters.
- Adhere to all clinical protocols, guidelines, and safety standards.
Qualifications:
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Pediatrics.
- Active, unrestricted California Medical License.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- DEA registration.
- Proven experience in pediatric outpatient care preferred.
Compensation:
- Salary range of $110.00 to $115.00 per hour, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
Workload & Patient Volume:
- Manage approximately 20-22 patients daily.
- No night shifts or weekend calls, promoting work-life balance.
