Locum Tenens Opportunity for Pediatric MD Location: Near New Concord, Ohio Start Date: January 2, 2024 Contract Length: 6 months Are you a skilled Pediatric MD seeking a rewarding locum tenens opportunity? We have an exciting position available near New Concord, Ohio, that might be the perfect fit for you! Position Details: Specialty: Pediatric MD Shifts: Monday - Friday Schedule: 8:30a – 5p (Monday – Friday) Support Staff: MA, Secretary, RN, Manager Coverage Needed: Full time, 20 shifts per month Patients per Day: Approximately 18 patients per day Patient Population/Age: Newborns to age 21 Department Description: Network of 40 hospital-employed physician practices with 230 providers and 600 staff. The locums provider will rotate between two offices, Monday through Friday, based on weekly needs. The practice is supported by a structured management system and consists of 7 physicians and 1 PA. No call or hospital rounding required. EMR: EPIC (May occasionally use Meditech for historical patient data) Required Skills: Pediatric sick visits, newborn exams, well exams (1 mo – 21 years), ADHD, behavioral and developmental concerns, some cases of anxiety and depression illness Equipment: All included (except stethoscope) Practice Setting: Hospital Requirements: Board Certification: ABP certified Pediatrician or Pediatric NP License Required: Ohio – IMLC state, obtainable quickly but must have before starting credentialing with DEA Certifications Preferred: MD/NP/PA with demonstrated Pediatric Experience and recent work Experience Certifications Required: BLS Minimum Experience: 2 years with pediatric outpatient healthcare If you are interested in this exciting locum tenens opportunity, please contact MD Staff at xxxxxxxxxxx* or email us at xxxxxxxxxxx*.
