Physician - Psychiatry Locum Tenens Opportunity - North Carolina Are you an experienced Psychiatrist looking for a locum tenens opportunity? We have an exciting position available in the field of Psychiatry for a Psychiatrist to join our team at North Carolina. Position Details: Specialty: Psychiatry Start Date: November 2023 or ASAP Contract Length: 6 months, ongoing Shift: Night shifts (7x12-hour) from 19:00 to 07:00 Schedule: 7 days on/off Work Details: Collaborative support staff including MDs, APPs, and residents Coverage needed: 14 shifts per month (7 on/off) plus weekend call during 'on' weeks Patient load: 16-18 patients per day under psychiatrist's supervision, with additional support from residents and APPs Patient population: Adults 18+ Department: 80-bed crisis stabilization unit with interdisciplinary team Incorporating education into patient care due to residency training program EMR: EPIC Location: Near DURHAM, NC Requirements: Board Certification: BC or Truly BE License required: NC DEA and CSR: Yes Minimum experience required: 1 year Credentialing Timeframe: 60-90 days COVID-19 Vaccine: Facility guideline - Unknown Flu Vaccine: Facility guideline - Unknown If you are interested in learning more about this exciting locum tenens opportunity, please contact us at HDA.
