Currently looking for an NP or PA with experience in ICU to fill an opening with a Hospital in upstate NY, close to Rochester. Interested candidates should have 1 year of experience in the ICU as an NP or PA, a Master of Science Degree, DEA eligible, and is eligible to get licensed in the state of New York.

Responsibilities of the ICU NP/PA:

• Responsible for Inpatient Care


• Round on patients as directed by the attending Intensivist  


• Participates in evaluations and treatments  


• Performs procedures (ie; ABG's, IV Insertions, intubation, NG tube insertions, central line insertion and other CC procedures

Requirements of the ICU Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant:

• 1 year of experience in ICU unit


• New York State License eligible


• Full-time Direct hire role


• FNP, ACNP, or PA  


• DEA Certification
