Our client located around the Riverside, CA area is looking for a permanent Nurse Practitioner to join their Pulmonary Acute Care team. Ideal candidates should have at least one year of experience in Pulmonary, Cardio, Urgent Care or Family Medicine.  



Responsibilities of the Nurse Practitioner:


  • Evaluate and treat patients with acute and chronic illnesses related to pulmonary, sleep and critical care.

  • Obtains complete histories and performs pertinent physical exams with assessment of normal and abnormal findings on new patients according to written standardized procedures

  • Recognizes and considers age-specific needs of patients.

  • Performs or requests and evaluates diagnostic studies as indicated upon evaluation of the patient according to written standardized procedures


Minimum Requirements of the Nurse Practitioner:


  • Current CA license as an NP

  • BLS and ACLS certified

  • Current DEA

  • Prefer minimum of Urgent Care, Family Medicine, Pulmonary, or Cardio experience in acute or ambulatory care setting.

  • Must be Acute care certified
