Our client is currently looking for a full-time permanent Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to join their team, which is located in the Albuquerque, New Mexico area. Interested candidates need have at least one year of experience in behavioral health.

Responsibilities of the PMHNP

• Must use theoretical, scientific, and clinical knowledge to mange health and illness states.


• Must assess a patient's mental health and focus on health promotion and disease prevention.


• Use evidence to determine use of screenings and provide lifestyle advice.


• Actively participate in initiatives to improve clinical and service quality.

Requirements of the Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner

• Minimum of one year of experience as a PMHNP.


• Current New Mexico licensure or eligible to obtain.


• Ties or reason to be in the area.


• Inpatient experience
