Description
Our client is seeking an experienced Optometrist for a 240-day assignment in Montana, commencing May 18, 2026. This role involves managing a wide range of optometric cases from infant to elder, including urgent issues, traumas, and post-operative care, with appointment lengths ranging from 15-45 minutes. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Responsibilities and Duties - See all primary care optometry cases, from infant to elder.
- Provide medical and therapeutic management for urgent ocular issues.
- Diagnose and treat conditions including traumas, post-operative complications, glaucoma, macular degeneration, uveitis, and diabetic retinopathy.
- Perform minor in-office procedures such as lash epilation, punctual dilation/irrigation, corneal and conjunctival foreign body removals, and bandage contact lens application.
- Utilize available onsite equipment, including phoropter, slit lamp, eye chart, and exam chair, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Additional Information - Board certification in Optometry is required.
- The facility utilizes the RPMS EMR system.
