Rates: $5000/day

Opportunity Highlights
Start Date: May 1, 2026 (Ongoing).
Schedule: 1 to 3 weeks per month (Friday 5:00 PM – Friday 5:00 PM).
Support: APPs are on-site 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday–Friday, to handle first call and assist with rounding.
Solo Coverage: The physician works solo during nights and weekends.
EMR: Epic.

Clinical Scope & Volume
The provider will manage acute gastrointestinal needs for an adult patient population, balancing hospital duties with a light procedural schedule.
Typical Day: 8:00 AM rounding with the APP, followed by 4–6 scheduled outpatient procedures (predominantly screening colonoscopies).
Call Volume: 8–10 average admissions while on call; 30-minute response time required.
Procedures: Required: EGD and Colonoscopies. Preferred: EUS and ERCP (if proficient).

Provider Requirements
Board Status: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology.
Experience: Minimum 1 year of post-fellowship experience.
Licensure: Active Pennsylvania (PA) Medical License in hand (Required). Note: Licensure candidates and IMLC are not considered for this role.
Certifications: Active ACLS and BLS (Required) and DEA.
Documentation: NPDB report no more than 2 years old is mandatory at the time of presentation.
Availability: Minimum of 1 week (7 days) per month to be considered.
