Position: Locum MD/DO – Emergency Medicine
Location: Nags Head, North Carolina

Key Responsibilities:
Provide emergency medical evaluation and treatment to patients of all ages.
Manage a broad range of acute and urgent conditions including trauma, cardiac, respiratory, and neurological emergencies.
Perform standard ED procedures such as intubation, suturing, splinting, and resuscitation.
Collaborate with nursing staff, specialists, and EMS personnel to ensure timely and effective patient care.
Participate in rotating shifts, including weekends, holidays, and overnights as needed.

Qualifications:
Board-certified or board-eligible in Emergency Medicine (MD/DO).
Active North Carolina medical license (or willingness to obtain).
Current ACLS, ATLS, and PALS certifications.
Experience in emergency department settings; rural or community hospital experience preferred.

Assignment Details:
Flexible start dates and shift coverage (12-hour shifts common).
