Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Gastroenterology Physician to provide high-quality care to adult patients in a hospital environment. The role involves outpatient clinic work, inpatient rounding, and performing essential procedures, supporting a multidisciplinary team committed to excellence in digestive health. The position offers a flexible schedule, and the ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, patient-centered setting.
Required Skills
- Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Gastroenterology
- Valid PA Medical License
- DEA Certification
- Minimum of 1 year post-residency experience
- Proficiency with EPIC electronic medical records
- Strong clinical skills in adult digestive health management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Nice to Have Skills
- Experience with advanced procedures, such as EUS or ERCP (not required)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Experience in a hospital-based outpatient setting
- Bilingual skills or additional language proficiency
Preferred Education and Experience
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited institution
- At least 1 year of post-residency clinical experience in gastroenterology
- Prior experience working in a hospital or acute care environment
Other Requirements
- Must hold a valid PA medical license
- Must be willing to support 24-hour call coverage on a rotating basis
- Travel and licensure expenses will be reimbursed when applicable
- Credentialing process completion expected within 90 days
