AMN Healthcare is proud to partner with a district in Olean, NY, to offer an exciting opportunity for a full-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP). This position is for 35 hours per week and will run through the remainder of the 2025–2026 school year. This district is open to considering Clinical Fellows, making this a great opportunity for recent graduates seeking mentorship and hands-on experience in a supportive educational setting.
As an SLP, you will evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and communication disorders in school-aged children. You’ll develop individualized treatment plans, conduct therapy sessions focused on muscular coordination and language development, and maintain detailed documentation of student progress. Collaboration is key in this role, as you’ll work closely with educators, families, and other professionals to support students’ educational goals. Participation in IEP meetings and contribution to multidisciplinary planning are also essential components of the position.

Required Qualifications
Speech/Language Pathologist, School
Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology (SLP) or Related Field
State SLP License in State of Residence
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech Language Hearing Association (ASHA)
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience working in a School Setting, Early Childhood, or Pediatrics
Strong Knowledge of Speech and Language Development, Assessment tools, and therapeutic techniques.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of educators, parents, and community members.
Ability to maintain accurate and confidential student records in compliance with federal and state regulations
