Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)Location: William Beaumont Army Medical Center (WBAMC), Fort Bliss, TX 79918 Position Type: Full-Time | In-Person (Limited telework may be available) Job Overview AIMS Locum Tenens is seeking a qualified Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to provide behavioral health and psychosocial support services in Fort Bliss, Texas. The LCSW will assess patient needs, provide counseling, and coordinate care with medical teams and community resources. This role focuses on helping patients manage emotional, social, and environmental challenges that impact their health and overall well-being. Key Responsibilities General Duties Perform clinical duties within the scope authorized by the Medical Treatment Facility (MTF) Director Ensure full compliance with contract requirements and Performance Work Statement (PWS) Clinical & Patient Care Duties Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments Develop and implement individualized treatment plans Provide counseling and psychotherapy to individuals, families, and groups Coordinate referrals to community and government support services Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including physicians and nursing staff Support patients coping with medical conditions, trauma, and life stressors Educate patients and families on coping strategies and available resources Participate in case conferences, peer reviews, and quality improvement initiatives Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with DoD standards Assist with discharge planning and continuity of care Qualifications Education: Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW) from a CSWE-accredited program Experience: Clinical practicum during MSW or Minimum of 2 years of recent clinical social work experience (within the past 3 years) Licensure: Active, unrestricted Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS), as required Eligibility: Must be authorized to work in the United States Skills & Competencies Strong counseling and interpersonal communication skills Ability to assess psychosocial needs and develop effective care plans Knowledge of mental health conditions and evidence-based treatment approaches Familiarity with community resources and referral processes Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team Strong organizational and documentation skills Schedule & Work Environment Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM (up to 40 hours/week) Work Setting: Military hospital and outpatient clinics Telework: May be available but not guaranteed Benefits 80 hours of paid vacation annually Up to 56 hours of sick leave 11 paid federal holidays Health, Dental, and Vision insurance 401(k) plan Additional Requirements Must meet base access and background check requirements Required immunizations, including TB screening and Hepatitis B Equal Opportunity Employer AIMS Locum Tenens is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace.
