Description
Our client in New Mexico is actively seeking a skilled Obstetrician/Gynecologist to join their team for a 30-day assignment starting Apr 13, 2026. This role involves providing comprehensive obstetrics and gynecology services, including managing pregnancies, performing deliveries, conducting ultrasounds, handling emergency obstetric situations, and managing approximately 25 patient encounters per shift.
Responsibilities and Duties - Provide comprehensive obstetrics and gynecology services.
- Manage low-risk and high-risk pregnancies.
- Perform and interpret FHR including NST/CST/FSE.
- Conduct and interpret OB Ultrasounds (Level I/Screening viability, Level II/Targeted anatomic).
- Perform amniocentesis.
- Execute routine deliveries (Vaginal, Low forceps, decision-making for C-section).
- Handle complicated deliveries (C-section, Breech, Multiple births, Abruptions, VBACs).
- Repair 3rd and 4th degree lacerations.
- Work within a Trauma facility with PEDs.
Additional Information - Board Certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology required.
- Experience with Athenahealth and Medhost EMR systems.
