Required Skills:
- Valid RN License with active state registration
- Minimum of 2 years of recent acute care experience, with first-time travelers needing this qualification
- BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications
- Ability to pass an EKG competency exam prior to deployment
- Proficiency in CVL placement/management, Foley cath management, tube feedings (NGT/PEG), arterial lines, and diabetes management
- Experience with drip titration including Levophed, Amiodarone, Cardizem, and Insulin
- Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
- Ability to adapt to unit support roles and float across units as needed
Nice to Have Skills:
- Prior experience in stroke units or general MedSurg settings
- Familiarity with Meditech Expanse EMR systems
- Knowledge of PICC/midline placement procedures
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
- At least 2 years of recent acute care experience in a similar setting
Other Requirements:
- Ability to work challenging schedules, including every other weekend rotation
- Flexibility to work 3/2 or 5/2 rotations with varying days off
- Willingness to work two major holidays per year
- Professional appearance with appropriate scrubs (pewter color; gray, white, or black T-shirts with WK monogram; gray or black jackets)
- No cell phone use or earbuds in patient care areas

- Valid certifications and licensing with reimbursements where applicable
